Bryant Avenue Reconstruction

The City of Minneapolis reconstructed Bryant Avenue S. Between W. 50th and Lake Streets in 2022 and 2023. South Uptown partnered with the City to engage and inform neighbors during planning and construction phases. The project is significantly complete including the roadway, sidewalks, bike lanes, street lights and space for green infrastructure. In 2024 boulevard trees, sod and native plantings are scheduled to be deployed throughout the corridor. South Uptown intends to implement custom bike racks along Bryant within the neighborhood and wrap utility boxes with artist designed coatings to prevent graffiti.
