Minneapolis Public Works is proposing a range of traffic calming projects across the city in 2026—including speed humps, traffic circles, and intersection bump-outs designed to slow traffic and improve safety for everyone. 🛑🚶♂️🚴♀️
They’re hosting a series of workshops this April where neighbors can learn more, share feedback, and ask questions. 🗣️
While there are no projects currently planned in South Uptown, nearby areas will see improvements:
➡️ To the west: traffic calming on the 3000 blocks of Holmes & Humboldt Ave S
➡️ North of Lake Street in Lowry Hill East: 10+ projects planned
