The City of Minneapolis has begun community engagement for the development of the new Minneapolis 2050 Comprehensive Plan — a vision for how our city will grow and evolve over the coming decades.
The plan will help guide what Minneapolis looks like by the year 2050, including the types of buildings that can be developed, transportation networks, land use, housing, and how our city grows. It will build upon and update the work established by the Minneapolis 2040 Plan, which was created nearly 10 years ago.
