A vacancy has opened up on the 9-member South Uptown Board of Directors, and the organization is hoping to fill it at the April 21 meeting. Candidates include all residents (including renters and homeowners), business owners, and property owners 18+) within South Uptown boundaries. The chosen individual will serve out a partial term with Board elections taking place in September.
The South Uptown Neighborhood Association realizes that it is an awkward time to recruit new Board Members considering the COVID-19 pandemic, but we believe it is important for the organization to continue our work to build community and strengthen the neighborhood.
